Un’Altra Partita (Another Game) Inspired by my Italian heritage, this piece celebrates the beauty of traditions that are passed from one generation to the next. The familiar red tablecloth, the scattered cards, and the quiet pause between hands capture a moment that feels both ordinary and deeply meaningful.

Growing up in an Italian family, there was always a deck of cards nearby. Scopa wasn’t just a game—it was an excuse to gather, tell stories, debate over the rules, and stay at the table a little longer. The game itself almost became secondary to the conversations, laughter, and moments shared around it.

My work is inspired by the parts of Italian culture that often go unnoticed—the everyday rituals that quietly shape our lives. The things we don’t think twice about today often become the memories we treasure most tomorrow.
